Markus has been working within Industry Engagement at GS1 for more than 6 years. He has a track record in retail for more than 17 years and before joining GS1 he has been working for several fashion/lifestyle brands and retailers. He holds a Master of Science degree in International Business, specialized in Strategy and Innovation Management, obtained from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands.
