Géraldine Vallejo joined Kering in October 2013 as Sustainability Programme Director. Prior to Kering, she spent 11 years at VINCI Group (a global player in concessions and construction), first on worldwide infrastructure projects in the "Constructions Grands Projets" branch; then at VINCI SA and VINCI Concessions, where she was Manager for sustainable development and scientific partnerships.

During her tenure at Kering, Géraldine has been responsible for helping guide the Group’s overall sustainability strategy and program implementation. She oversees a team of international experts to support and advise the Group’s Luxury Houses with a focus on creating innovative approaches and building strategic partnerships around sustainable sourcing, biodiversity conservation and low environmental impact production.
Géraldine holds a Masters of Science in Environmental & Civil engineering from Stanford University, California, and is a graduate from Ecole Polytechnique, France.
She is Chair of the Biodiversity Commission of Entreprises pour l’Environnement (EpE) and sits at the Expert Committee of the Climate Fund For Nature. She participates in international forums on climate and nature such as the Science Based Targets Network (SBTN).
On behalf of Kering, she also set up and manages the first-ever private sector partnership with the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) to promote biodiversity science.
